El guión estuvo a cargo François Truffaut, y reflejó en casi toda su totalidad, la visión que tenÃa sobre esta nueva ola que proclamaba Godard. La banda de sonido que acompañó al film, se camufla de una manera espectacular, enlazando y concatenando escenas de añoraza peculiar a pesar de tener un lenguaje coloquial.
